Cardiac Care at Three Rivers Medical Center focuses on the functions and disorders of the heart and its connected circulatory system. According to the American Heart Association, 84 million people in the U.S. suffer from some form of cardiovascular disease, affecting blood flow throughout the body. Cardiovascular disease can lead to heart attacks, strokes or other serious complications.

In April 2012, Three Rivers Medical Center’s Chest Pain Center was granted a full three-year accreditation by the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care (SCPC) – a designation held by only 12 percent of hospitals in the United States. This means that we have demonstrated commitment to quality patient care by meeting or exceeding a wide set of criteria and completing on-site evaluations by a SCPC review team.
