Three Rivers Medical Center offers general and specialized surgical procedures. Many of these procedures are available on a same-day, outpatient basis.
The surgical services department consists of four operating suites, two endoscopy rooms and one cystoscopy room and, we offer same-day surgery, post-anesthesia care and a central sterile supply. We also have a recovery room staffed by nurse specialists that are trained to assist patients until the effects of anesthesia subside.
Surgical patients remain in the recovery room until they are ready to return to their room or be discharged home.
We serve all age groups, from infants to geriatrics, as well as inpatients and outpatients. Patients are evaluated according to age-specific needs, health care needs and their desire for treatment.
