Three Rivers Medical Center Celebrates 50 Years of Service
LOUISA, KY (Nov. 6, 2024)—Three Rivers Medical Center (TRMC) celebrated its 50th anniversary, honoring five decades of care to Louisa and its neighboring communities. The milestone event highlighted the hospital’s history, impact on the community, and unwavering commitment to providing compassionate, local healthcare.
The celebration included remarks from hospital leaders, local and state officials, and community members; as well as a special tribute to long-serving staff, including 50-year employees Connie Sammons and Ramona Hatfield, who have been instrumental in shaping the hospital’s legacy of care.

“For 50 years, Three Rivers Medical Center has been a cornerstone of health and wellness for Louisa and the surrounding area,” said Greg Kiser, CEO of Three Rivers Medical Center. “We are proud to have served this community for half a century, and we extend our deepest gratitude to all employees for their dedication and hard work in making this hospital a place of healing and compassion.”
Through 50 years, the hospital’s services have received national recognition with an HCAHPS 4-Star rating and from organizations like The Joint Commission, American College of Cardiology Accreditation, American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and American College of Radiology.
“Serving as CEO for 33 of the 50 years has been a true honor,” added Kiser. “We look forward to continuing the hospital’s high-quality, compassionate care legacy.”
