It’s sophisticated, and uses a strong magnetic field to show the structure and detail of organs, soft tissue and bones, which can pinpoint all types of issues from abnormalities to disease. Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) uses pulsed radio frequency along with a magnetic field rather than x-ray to create detailed diagnostic images. MRI detects and details soft tissue and joint abnormalities, as well as, problems with blood vessels and blood flow using Magnetic Resonance Angiography (MRA). Three Rivers Medical Center’s staff is trained to provide the most comfortable MRI experience possible.
